Terms & Conditions
By placing an order with The Framed Flower, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions.
It is your responsibility to ensure flowers reach me in the best condition.
It is your responsibility to make sure your flowers are correctly packaged up and labelled following my step-by-step instructions and sent using royal mail special delivery next day service before 1pm. I accept no responsibility for any damaged incurred to your flowers due to poor packaging.
It is your responsibility to ensure the delivery details and address are correct.
It is your responsibility to ensure your flowers are sent on the correct day, if you send them a day late, I may not be able to preserve them as each bouquet has a specific slot.
I preserve flowers to the best of my ability, but cannot take responsibility for poor results due to age, damaged, wilted, rotten or bruised flowers when they arrive to me.
I cannot take any responsibility for damaged flowers during delivery, if they arrive damaged, I will contact you to discuss this.
Once your bouquet arrives, I will preserve it immediately, it is your responsibility to instruct me correctly on which style of preservation you would prefer, once this process has started it cannot be changed.
If an order has been placed by a third party on your behalf (i.e., family, friends, wedding co-ordinator, funeral director) it is their responsibility to read and communicate these terms and conditions to the owner of the flowers in question.
A £50 deposit is required to secure your booking, this is non-refundable.
The remaining balance of your order will become due when your bespoke frame is ready to be ordered.
During the preservation process the colours will change due to the moisture being removed, therefore your flowers will take on a matt, vintage appearance which I believe is a beautiful, natural side effect of flower preservation. Slight shrinkage can occur and some colours can change. These changes are normal and a natural result of flower preservation. I use a colour enhancing technique after the flower preservation process has been complete to treat the flowers.
I cannot be held responsible for the loss or damage of your flowers whilst in our care due to fire, storm, civil disorder, loss of electricity, flood, mechanical failure or any other event beyond my control. Please note that The Framed Flower liability is strictly limited to the amount of money that you have paid, and no further compensation would be offered in these circumstances.
Your flowers which are sent to me and preserved by me will remain my property until full payment has been made.
Although your frame will be glazed with conservation glass which will filter out ultraviolet light, your preserved flowers are perishable and over time there can be a mellowing of colour which one would expect with products of this nature, so I advise you to keep out of direct sunlight and any hot and humid areas.
There will be a degree of artistic interpretation to my work as most bouquets have to be scaled down to fit in the frame so not every flower in your bouquet will be used in the final design.
My product turnaround is usually 3 months, I reserve the right to extend my turnaround time when necessary.
I cannot take responsibility for any damage or particles that may become loose during delivery, if there is any serious damage to your order when you receive it, please report this to me within 2 days of your item arriving. Please email me along with photos of any damage occurred so I can take the necessary action.
I reserve the right to use photos of your completed design.
